If they would quit making them ugly and raising the price, maybe they would sell more.

Chevy has something up their sleeve. With the GT 500 I predict there is going to be a 6th Gen Camaro Z/28 with the ZR1 engine or something like that.

The ZL1 looks pretty awesome. I am guessing another brief hiatus and then a big marketing campaign when they reintroduce it... again. Maybe even an electric in 2027.

It's a matter of economics and GM is hurting . . . badly.    Ford is not doing much better and saw this a few years ago.  They are stopping production of all sedans except for the Mustang and a compact Focus crossover vehicle.

I also hate to see Camaro production come to an end from an enthusiasts point of view.  Competition improves the breed and the Camaro vs Mustang has continued to bring us better cars through the years as they attempted to one-up each other.

The Mustang started the "Pony car" market and led the way for the Camaro, Firebird, Javalin, Barracuda, and the Challenger.  All the manufacturers built and improved some really great Pony cars as they competed with each other.

The death of the Camaro will be a sad time for all Pony Car enthusiasts.

With the Corvette C8 so well received, GM may kill of everything but the Corvette and concentrate on it.

I was thinking much the same thing. I still doubt Camaro is gone forever, but since the price/performance of the two models have closed in on each other to the point  of "what's the difference", it's making sense. Arguing that the Camaro has a back seat is pretty much a joke now. (As if it wasn't always that way!)
