HOPPIN’ EVENT IN ORANGEBURG

HOPPIN' EVENT SLATED FOR SONIC
[forecast]
Hoppin' Johns, a southern tradition, and now "car hops" are certain
to be associated with the advent of 2013 in Orangeburg.

A reason for this is truck fans, rat rodders, antique buffs and
enthusiasts of other type rides are invited to show up on the first
weekend of the first month at a restaurant specializing in service to
all vehicle occupants.

Owners of classic conveyances are planning a cruise into town,
January 6, to celebrate a brand new year as well as the auto hobby
itself at a local Sonic.

Members of two regional clubs, Midlands Mopars of West Columbia and
Lowcountry Mopars of North Charleston, plan to hold their annual
"Meeting Halfway" fellowship event from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Garden City
eatery that Sunday.

The business known as America's Drive-in is located at 2564 North
Road, which is between Prince of Orange Mall and Walmart.

The get-together is free, open to all makes and models and the
public is invited to attend.
