What to expect!

This event is a new twist on car events. While we will have some of the usual things expected at a car event, such as a cruise-in and even an autocross, this show is much more than that.

It is being promoted by local residents of Pigeon Forge, car folks that do our fair share of annual events across the southeast and other areas that want to expose our area and natural beauty here.

We encourage people to drive their vehicle here, and plan on putting miles on it while here, exploring some mountain twisties and some interesting local attractions.

This event is not limited to any genre of car, truck are motorcycle. We welcome all year, make models and encourage car clubs and other group to come together and if you have 5 or more, contact us about a group discount.

Below are some of the things you can participate in at the event.

* Autocross- 2 Full days, up to 200 cars
* Special Karting event on Thursday night
* Winery tours
* Moonshine tour
* Great Door prizes
* Poker Run
* Special shopping offer from Tanger Outlets
* Dinner show included for registered with additional tickets at severe discounts

All of the different segments of the event will earn you "tickets" that will be put in a hopper and winning tickets will be drawn at our closing ceremonies on Sunday. The prizes will include some all inclusive vacation packages back to our area, assorted product prizes and cash.

All this for an entry fee of $125

This is a rain or shine event so no refunds due to weather.

Not sure if you want to go or not?

If you are not sure, here is what LMC member "Bo" Harrell had to say about his experience last year:

Cars can be trailered up.  You can do as much as (or as little as) you want!  You don't have to do Autocross if you are not into that.  You get a chance for the drawing on Sunday and there have thousands of dollars worth of things given away. Lots of sponsors, lots of things to do for perhaps the significant others who may not be so much into cars.  We do two cruises.  One to Cades Cove and one to the Tail of the Dragon.  There is also a Poker run for the drawings at the end of Sunday.  We get discounts on all of the shows. There is a car show.  It is a packed few days.  You get a number for your car and discount coupons for the Tanger Mall.  It includes a Thurs night go cart track for free.  You can do your own thing or run with the boys. You will meet some really great people that just love fun and love the cars. It's like a rolling car cruzzzzzz! The hotel we stay at is older but very clean and cheap. It's by a small river and you can raft if choose to.  I'm just sayen it's funnnnnn and different.  It definitely makes for some great memories! They have places to go on the Poker Run . You can do a tour of the Moonshine or wine tasting stores .We did a cart down the mt and it was AWESOME!  Once in a life time event but you will want to go back the next year!:)

Looking for LMC Members who went last year and who are planning to go this year to step up and help organize a return visit. Volunteers please e-mail events@lowcountrymusclecar.com.
